Financial assistance to ensure a dignified funeral and burial for war veterans and qualified civilians
Provides proper care and maintenance of all graves and grave
markers which have been installed at the expense of the Government of
Canada
Administered by the Last Post Fund (LPF), in cooperation with Veterans Affairs Canada

Funeral and Burial Assistance - Application for funeral and burial assistance can be made by calling the national Last Post Fund 1-800-465-7113 within one year following the death of the Veteran
Grave Marking Maintenance - To inform Veterans Affairs Canada about an unmarked Veteran's grave or a military marker that needs work email vac.cm-mc.acc@canada.ca or call 902-626-2440
