Service Description: A 14-bed facility providing temporary shelter for youth. A shelter overflow process exists; no one is turned away. Services include:
  • laundry facilities, showers, meals
  • referrals to community resources
  • life skills training
  • supportive guidance
  • recreational activities
  • assistance in finding permanent housing
  • weekly access to Registered Nurse Practitioner

Youth Resource Hub services provided at 133 Woolwich St
  • drop in every Wed 9 am-11:30 am
  • CMHA outreach Mon 10 am-11:30 am
  • Ontario Works Mon 9 am-11:30 am
  • no health card necessary
  • food and drinks available
  • outreach worker for support with addictions, housing, food access, life concerns
  • nurse practitioner for medical care and treatment, assessments and diagnostic testing (pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections etc), mental health assessments, specialist referrals, birth control, pregnancy care or parenting support, and any health concerns
