Service Description: An interactive communication group for adults with aphasia, giving them an opportunity to use supported conversation with others who also have aphasia * facilitated by a combination of Speech-Language Pathologist and Communicative Disorders Assistant  * Social Work assistance available to participants and caregivers.
A typical aphasia group session may include:
•Discussing current topics & expressing opinions
•Role-playing everyday communication scenarios to develop conversational skills of listening & reading comprehension
•Supporting one another to participate & gain confidence in communicating

Fees: Rates set by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care * subsidies for basic rates may be available for eligible applicants
