Service Description:

A community-based coalition providing leadership, advocacy, and education in the area of suicide awareness, suicide prevention, suicide intervention and suicide postvention
Services include:
- developing a suicide prevention program
- publication of print material
- website with extensive suicide-related information
The steering committee includes:
- Halton Region Health Department * Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Halton Branch * Halton District School Board * Halton Catholic District School Board * Halton Alcohol, Drug, and Gambling Assessment, Prevention, and Treatment Services (ADAPT) * Teach, Empower, Advocate for Community Health (TEACH) * Distress Centre Halton * Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK) * Woodview Mental Health and Autism Services * Schizophrenia Society of Ontario * Positive Space Network of Halton * Halton Regional Police Services, Victim Services Unit * citizens affected by suicide also known as survivors of suicide
