Chiropractors assess conditions related to the spine, nervous system, and joints. They diagnose, prevent, and treat (primarily by adjustment) dysfunctions or disorders arising from the spine and joints.
In Ontario, regulated health professions are governed under the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 (RHPA) and health profession acts (e.g., Medicine Act, 1991).
