Service Description:
|
Crisis intervention program for youth up to 18 and their families * provides urgent assistance to people experiencing emotional
distress * aims to defuse the crisis, ensure the person's safety, and
assist the person with taking steps to resolve the problem * supports
include supportive counselling, safety planning, and referrals to
community resources or services for ongoing assistance * crisis support provided by telephone, in-home, and/or via community supports
